Biographical Profile

Dr. Barfield's primay professional interest area is disability sport. His research in this field has examined both the health and social beneifts of adapted activity and he currently serves as an international sport classifier and research associate for Lakeshore Foundation (www.lakeshore.org). Dr. Barfield also studies minority student access to sport science programs and professions and he is a member of AAHPERD and ACSM.
