Cherie Lynch, Director of Internship
Internship

Cherie Lynch is the Director of the Internship Program at Endicott College.  The Endicott College Internship Program is a comprehensive experiential learning program that requires multiple academic internships in every field of study.  Over 1200 students complete internships each year through Endicott’s program.  Cherie’s focus as Director has been in restructuring the internship courses to incorporate both classroom and on-line learning components and in developing extensive online internship resources for students. She is very active with numerous community, arts, and professional organizations.  She is a member of WACE (World Association of Cooperative Education), CEIA (Cooperative Education and Internship Association), NSEE (National Association of Experiential Education), NEACEFE (New England Association for Cooperative Education), NEHRA (New England Human Resources Association), and the Southern Essex Workforce Investment Board/Youth Council.

Cherie received her M.Ed. from Boston University, School of Education, where her studies focused on higher education and education policy.  She received her B.F.A. from Massachusetts College of Art where she majored in Art History.  Cherie began her professional career at Boston University, managing academic technology services and supporting distance learning classes.  She went on to work at Boston College and in the private sector managing recruitment and training for a technology company - Virtual Access Networks (acquired by Symantec).  A true believer in Internship, Ms. Lynch has completed both undergraduate and graduate internships herself, at the Ashuah-Irving Gallery and at Boston College.
