Dr. Norman Becker, Professor
School of Business

Norman Becker is the James G. Zafris Professor of Business. He has had extensive experience as a business executive in the computer industry as well as teaching experience at Tufts University. He frequently consults with high technology start-up companies on the problems of business development and the management of rapid growth. Professor Becker teaches courses in Economics, Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and Organizational Behavior. His research interests focus on the problems of economic growth and the application of human resources to achieve economic or business growth. He received his MA and his Ph.D. from Cornell University.
