DRAKE, Alison

Birth date: 1947
Birthplace: Caracas, Venezuela
Education: Received a B.A. from Utica College of Syracuse University in 1970, and a M.A.L.S. from Florida State University in 1973.
Professional Career: Drake has used several pseudonyms under which she writes (including Alison Drake) and is a member of the Florida Freelance Writers Association. She has been a Spanish teacher in various Florida institutions since 1975 and was teacher of English to Cuban refugees from 1981-82. She was nominated for the Shamas Award for Dark Fields.
