HAREVEN, Shulamith

Professional Career: Shulamith Hareven served as a combat medic and journalist in the Israeli Defense Forces and was a war correspondent during the Yom Kippur War. She was the first female member of the Hebrew Language Academy. She currently works as a columnist. Hareven has lived in Jerusalem since 1940.
