Network Support Specialist

Assist Network Manager in managing and troubleshooting the Endicott college campus-wide data network; assist Network Manager in monitoring and managing policy for Network Security; act as backup systems administrator for multiple network and applications servers; Web, DNS, DHCP, Domain Controllers, Intranet, Email, VPN/Firewall, Proxy, PC Labs, Administrative Payroll, One-Card (Odyssey, Best Uniprint), and other servers and applications; design, script and build network systems and related system interfaces; serve as secondary point of contact for external network issues; assist in the maintenance and repair of all network equipment and implement regular backups and updates on all devices and systems; install new network hardware/software; monitor network usage; prepare network documentation, training, and guidance; establish user profiles, user environments, directories and security for networks being installed; responsible for monitoring and maintaining all devices on network; acts as backup Campus *Email) postmaster; assist Computer Technician and Help Desk in providing service to campus; assist in coordinating and delivering user training in network applications; assist students and staff as appropriate; other duties as assigned.

Assistant Director of Admission/Head Women's Lacrosse Coach

Work in conjunction with other Admission staff members in the development and implementation of recruitment efforts; participate in the evaluation and selection of students seeking admission to the College from an assigned territory; six to ten weeks of recruitment travel in the fall and three to five weeks in the spring; serve on selected campus committees and complete other tasks as assigned by the Vice President of Admission and Financial Aid.

Head coach of women's lacrosse responsibilities: understand and adhere to Division III principles, Endicott's mission statement and the Athletic Department's mission statement; represent the Endicott community in a positive manner and represent the Women's lacrosse team to Endicott; recruit qualified student athletes; select team appropriately; recommend and co-evaluate an assistant coach; plan practices and games that meet the needs and interests of student athletes; fundraising with Institutional Advancement; be certified to drive college vehicles, if necessary; work with Physical Plant on field maintenance; follow purchasing procedures for supply acquisitions; organize annual spring trip; meet with Athletic Director regularly to provide team information and coordinate activities.

Associate/Assistant Dean of Students

Working with the Associate Dean of Students, responsible for the day-to-day management of the Office of Student Development; provide supervision of staff for one or more functional areas of the office; serve as advisor to student groups as determined; actively participate in the disciplinary process with all student development staff; provide leadership for Student Development staff development and training; assist and participate in the development and support of an effective and cohesive student development team; communicate with students and families to resolve issues; work collaboratively with College administrators, faculty, staff and students to continuously improve the services of the Office of Student Development and to recommend change when appropriate; serve on college committees as needed; participate in development of a comprehensive emergency response team; actively participate in various campus activities either voluntarily or as assigned; other duties and responsibilities, which may arise as determined by the Vice President for Student Development and/or the President.

Science Lab Manager - Part time

Coordinate all lab supply ordering, processing, setup and cleanup for labs; maintain a standard operating procedure (SOP) for lab ordering procedures that are to be followed by all science faculty; maintain database inventory of Science laboratory equipment and supplies; maintain a MSDS (material safety data sheet) notebook for each science laboratory; help maintain compliance with relevant EPA and OSHA standards; supervise Science laboratory technicians and work-study students; attend all Arts and Sciences meetings and Science Departments meetings; manage Endicott College Weather Station data and website access to Weatherunderground; coordinate ordering, maintenance and repair of all scientific equipment; perform field collection of laboratory materials as needed; provide live specimen care for Science department; oversee the cleanliness and safety levels of Science laboratories; organize and maintain science laboratory storage areas; other duties as assigned by the Dean of Arts and Sciences, including academic teaching; work with Dean's office to coordinate scheduling of lab sections as needed.

Assistant Residence Director (Graduate Assistant)

Assists in the management of residence hall students; responds to emergency situations and addresses student behavior; promotes, advertises and participates in hall programs; communicates regularly with the Residence Hall Director and the Director of Residence Life about building concerns, operations programming events; participates in Residence Hall staff training; assists with opening and closing of the residence halls at the beginning and end of each semester, vacation periods and other breaks in the academic calendar; provides visibility and availability to students in their area; maintains a sense of community and respect for individual and group rights within the residence hall; attends regular staff meetings with the residence Life Office and in the residence hall; participates in on-duty schedule on weekend nights only; maintains availability through pager contact at all times, except when specific dates have been approved in advance; serves as a primary role model to resident students; recommends new initiatives and provides input on the assessment of the efforts in residential areas; performs other duties as required to meet the needs of the department and the College.

Residence Director

Develops and supervises activities and programs within the hall of an educational, recreational, cultural and academic nature; supervise a staff of Resident Assistants and Desk Clerks (as applicable); assists in the selection, training and evaluation of residence life staff; assists with the development and must participate in RD and RA training prior to each semester and on-going staff training; maintains a sense of community, respect for individual and group rights and preserves order within the hall by enforcing College and residence hall policies; coordinates with campus security as appropriate; provides academic and personal support to students through intensive student interaction and by being visible in the halls; participate in an "on-duty" schedule including weeknight, weekend and weekend day duty; make rounds through buildings and campus on a varied basis; provides back-up support to other residence directors in cases of illness, vacation or emergency; available for response to crisis and emergencies on an on-going basis; advise Hall Council and other residential student groups; adjudicates discipline cases involving residence hall students as determined by the Director of Residential Life and Assistant Dean of Student Development; plans and coordinates personnel and other resources necessary for the opening and closing of the residence hall at the beginning and end of each semester, vacation period and other breaks in the academic schedule as required; supervises room assignments and room changes within residential area; coordinates out of building moves with the Assistant Director; distributes room keys, residence halls rules, and other pertinent information to resident students; encourages and support systems of student self-governance within the residence halls; serves as a role model and mentor for students; advises individual and/or groups of students regarding specific residence hall concerns; reports needed maintenance repairs to maintenance office and the Director of Residence Life; responsible for the safety and welfare of students including completing fire inspections, bi-weekly building inspections and daily building tours; maintains and updates inventory of all residence life equipment and furnishings in the residence hall; attends regular staff meetings with Residence Life office and various College events such as but not limited to Parent's Weekend, Accepted Students' Day and Community Meetings; demonstrates sensitivity to students, staff and faculty of varying racial, ethnic, religious, gender, cultural, disability and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required, Master's in counseling, student personnel or other related field preferred. Previous experience in residence hall administration preferred.

Competitive Dance Team Coach

Part-time position coaching an established college dance team. Position runs from September through March, minimum three evenings per week. The Dance Team performs at all home basketball games. Competitions (1-2) are on weekends.

Qualifications: Experience with or knowledge of high energy, precision dance teams; strong technical background in jazz and hip-hop and experience with competing -- UDA or NDA competitive experience preferred; duties include overseeing fund raising, scheduling, recruiting team members and arranging for competitions; must be able to work cooperatively with students and staff.

Photography Labs Coordinator - Part-time

Works with Academic Technology to implement a professional level of color management on computer stations in AD201 and AD 202: including scheduling calibration of monitors, calibration of printers and updating of printer profiles; oversee the organization, maintenance and repair of all equipment and supplies in the photography studio; assists and tutors students during set hours each week on all aspects of the digital printing centers in AD202 and the darkroom labs AC011; keeps printing supplies inventory and places orders as needed with the School Administrative Assistant; maintains ink inventory and provides technical assistance for ink-jet printer output in AD201/202; trains lab monitors on digital and wet lab techniques, including scanning, printing color management, printing centers procedures and general troubleshooting; oversees and coordinates procedures and schedules for the usage of the studio and equipment by students; trains studio monitors in all aspects and usage of the digital studio; maintains and monitors the photography lighting studio, including inventory, minor repairs, scheduling, and technical assistance to students; mixes and sets up all chemistries in accordance with EPA and manufacturer guidelines; maintains enlargers and related equipment, including minor hardware repairs; performs other duties as required to meet the needs of the School and the College.

Qualifications: Master degree in relevant field or equivalent experience; experience in higher education preferred; expertise in Mac-based digital printing, darkroom support and troubleshooting skills for color management and black and white photography; excellent communication skills to work effectively with faculty, students and staff; ability to lift 35 pounds; ability to work a flexible schedule.

Assistant Dean, Physical Education/Sport Management

Provides academic leadership by promoting communication, faculty development, and conducting departmental meetings; promotes curriculum and instructional development, modification and evaluation; assists Admissions Office in planning and meeting enrollment targets and recruitment activities; assists the Registrar in resolving student inquiries related to departmental curriculum and instruction; performs all supervisory duties, including recruiting, orientation, record keeping, evaluations, and participation in grievance procedures; establishes faculty and staff teaching assignments and loads; collects course syllabi for each course annually and forwards for review; assists in management of program budget; advises students in the School of Sport Science; participates in registration to supervise adherence to program requirements and course sequences, monitors class size, and resolves student problems; teaches a course load consistent with Chair positions; develops and maintains PETL Program sites; maintains NASPE/NAASM Program approval and METL-PE Program accreditation.

Qualifications: Earned Doctorate preferred in related field; prior college level teaching experience; prior supervisory experience; knowledge of Massachusetts DOE Standards for Physical Education/Teaching Licensures; knowledge of NASPE/NASSM Program Standards; demonstrated ability to develop policies and procedures.

Assistant Athletic Trainer

Evaluates athletic injuries and illnesses sustained while participating in Endicott College Athletics and Endicott Club Sports; treats all injuries or illnesses and refers to other health care professionals as necessary; assists in rehabilitation of student athletes; assists in all administrative duties required for athletic training room operation; assists in providing athletic training services for all practices and athletic contests hosted by Endicott College; provides coverage of away contests at the direction of the Head Athletic Trainer; provides supervision and clinical instruction for Athletic Training students; works with the coaching staff and other Athletic Department personnel to insure the safety of all facilities and equipment used for intercollegiate athletics; assists in the development of weight training and conditioning programs for the Athletic Department; performs additional duties to meet the needs of the department and the College.

Qualifications: Minimum of a Master Degree in Athletic Training or related area; certification by the NATABOC; eligibility for Massachusetts State licensure; demonstrated ability to interact effectively with college-age students.

Adjunct Professors - School of Graduate and Professional Studies

Faculty needed in liberal arts and humanities, business, arts and learning, sports management, technology, organizational management, research methods and thesis design, and teacher licensure programs. Daytime, weekend, and evening classes are offered year-round. Teaching sites include the Beverly main campus and the North Shore, and sites in Middlesex County, Greater Boston, Northern Worcester County, and Southern Massachusetts.

Full time opening for qualified Accounting faculty to help develop and teach new CPA-track undergraduate program in Accounting. Open to candidates with teaching interests in any traditional areas of Accounting. Will require academic leadership, ability to teach effectively across a number of areas, scholarship in support of teaching and curriculum development and service to the College. Includes academic advising of up to twenty students.

Event and Conference Service Associate

Provides administrative support to the Executive Director of Event and Conference Services and the staff of Event and Conference Services Department; duties include word processing, sending emails, data entry and retrieval, processing deposits, faxing, filing, answering phones, and scheduling of appointments; provides assistance with calls, mailings and other requests; prepares advanced information packets; coordinates daily office procedures; ensures office supplies are in stock, based on the budgeted amount; coordinates facility scheduling of internal events; becomes knowledgeable with facilities used for events and conferences and cost associated with such facilities; serves as a resource to clients concerning events; provides assistance with projects to all functional areas of the department; maintains an updated policies and procedures manual and maintains organization of the files on the shared drive; works closely with the Director and other members of the Event and Conference Services Department to coordinate events and ensure quality service; responsible for the coordination of groups and events as needed, including payment tracking, billings and coordination of the setups and breakdowns of events/rooms/halls and coordinates with food services when needed; assists with emergency coverage for evenings and weekends; assists with overseeing student workers; performs other duties as assigned.

Internship Coordinator - Part-time

Teaches INT100 and INT200, including pre-internship classes for INT100 and grading for both courses; advises and counsels students on internship search methods and internship expectations; assists freshmen, sophomores, and juniors in planning and conducting their internship search; meets with students individually and in groups; evaluates internship sites; develops, fields ad advertises internship leads; in conjunction and with Internship Office, organizes and conducts workshops, presentations, and other internship programs and events; acts as liaison to industry site supervisors, deans, faculty and students to facilitate internship experiences; performs other duties as needed to meet the needs of the department and the College.

Teaches up to two courses each semester on issues related to diversity within an appropriate discipline; collaborates with faculty interested in incorporating issues of diversity within their courses; provides leadership for the development of a Diversity Resource and Education Center; works with College to establish the Center as a dynamic resource for students, faculty, and staff on issues related to individuals of diverse racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, and abilities; creates and implements educational, cultural, and social programming that celebrates diversity and that enhances the community's understanding and awareness of issues related to diversity; researches and identifies appropriate resources such as publications and media to be included in the Center; performs other duties as required to meet the needs of the College.

Responsible for overseeing student recruitment meetings for the teacher licensure programs of the Graduate School; recommends to Graduate School dean the adjunct faculty who will teach in the teacher licensure programs; plans and schedules course offerings for the teacher licensure programs; advises students in the teacher licensure programs; writes proposals and updates to the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education for approvals to offer teacher licensure programs; coordinates response to the DESE with Endicott's contact person; assists in writing of reports and preparation for site visits; oversees the practicum and internships for teacher licensure degree candidates.

Qualifications: Bachelor degree, Master preferred; two years of experience in the Admission or a related field; strong written, oral and organizational and problem solving skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and work both independently and as part of a team; ability to articulate the value of a private, liberal arts and applied learning environment is critical; energetic, enthusiastic, flexible and enjoy travel (including some evening and weekend assignments).

Head Women's Basketball Coach/Contest Management Co-Coordinator

Head coach of NCAA, Division III Women's Basketball team, including understanding and adherence to Division III principles, Endicott College's mission statement and the Athletic Department's mission statement; creating a team atmosphere (including coaches, players and supporters) that fosters mutual respect for preparation and enjoyment of competition and maintains an appropriate role in the total development of the student athlete; recruiting of qualified student athletes; selecting team appropriately; recommending an assistant coach; planning practices and games; fundraising; team related sports information as necessary; appropriate advising and referral of athletes through and to college offices; acts as Contest Management Coordinator for all fall and spring sports including: pre-game set up and post game breakdown; crowd control management and planning; post game incident reporting; police/ambulance if necessary; hire and submit payment for all officials of all home games for all 18 varsity sports; game day video and post game dubbing (in consultation with head coach); supervise and verify work of student workers; Championship Coordinator for all fall and spring sports including: Declaration of Eligibility for participation in NCAA and ECAC tournament; NCAA and ECAC hosting requests and preliminary tournament budgets, tickets and passes and lists for tournaments, help with publicity of tournaments.

Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor Degree with a Master's degree preferred; one to five years of coaching experience; exceptional management skills; knowledge of MS Office; playing experience beyond high school; knowledge of Netitor; excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to work as part of a team with strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
