Teaching Fellows Program
Welcome to the Van Loan School at Endicott Teaching Fellows Program
This year-long residency provides students an opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while completing a tuition free master's degree. Teaching Fellows start courses and work in a partnering district immediately upon graduating with their bachelor's degree.
Students are able to gain resume-building experience as a literacy coach, reading specialist, special education support aid, tutor or co-teacher. Fellows work under the direction of a Master Teacher who also serves as the Cooperating Practitioner for the supervised Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education approved licensure field experience.
At the conclusion of the intensive, one year residency in a local school, completers of the Fellows program will have earned their Master’s in Education, Initial or Specialist license in Massachusetts and will have gained invaluable professional experience working in a school district.
Your program placement is determined by your field of interest / program of study and the needs of the partner districts.
