Phi Epsilon Kappa Installation and Induction
On May 2nd, 2014 Endicott College inducted its first class of Phi Epsilon Kappa, the national professional fraternity for persons engaged in or pursuing careers in physical education, health, recreation, dance, human performance, exercise science, sports medicine and sport management. The academic requirement for invitation to the fraternity (starting in 2015 in second semester of the junior year) is a 3.3 grade point average in both the School of Sport Science and the College overall. Dr. Jeffery Vessely, the Executive Director of the fraternity was present to install the Endicott Chapter and present their Greek letters, Eta Upsilon. The first ceremony saw both juniors and seniors inducted. The seniors began the alumni association and the juniors quickly initiated plans for fraternity senior activities for 2014-15.
Inductees included: Michelle Truncali (President),Katelyn Metzger (Vice President, Maurisa Ollari (Treasurer), Schuyler Archambault (Secretary), Ted Andrews (Historian), Erin Haynes, Stephen Joyce, Harry Oringer, Aubrey Reardon, Madeline Schiess, Meghan Ballard, Julie Manning, Charles Nastasi, Lance Pepper, Victorya Pilbin, David St. Pierre, Ashley Walenta, Cailyn Walsh and Jennifer White. The Faculty Advisors included Dr. Rich Nastasi, Prof. Beth Donahue, Dr. Douglas Glazer and Dean of the School of Sport Science Dr. Deborah Swanton.
