Digital Media Center

The Digital Media Center, located on the second floor of the Academic Center, embraces digital media production. The TV studio and control room are operated by a student crew consisting of a producer, director, anchor, on-air talent, camera operators, sound engineer, teleprompter operator and more. The studio is used to produce programming that can be cablecast on Endicott College Television (ECTV) or streamed over the internet for world-wide viewing. Students who participate in ECTV have full control of broadcast content and learn all aspects of TV production by creating their own productions.

The School of Communication offers courses that teach the principles, theory, and skills needed to produce professional-quality programming for a variety of today's media genres and outlets. The Digital Media Center, ECTV, and the School of Communication curricula prepare Endicott students for internships and future job opportunities in the exciting field of digital media.

Also located in the Digital Media Center is a post production facility that houses a multimedia area accessible for both instructional and student use. It includes 10 digital, non-linear stations featuring the Adobe Creative Suite as well as other software products to enhance the quality of the final project.
