Health Center

Family Medicine Associates (FMA) at Endicott College is located on the first floor of the Callahan Center in Office 118.  It features 3,300 square feet of state-of-the art medical office space with expanded services for the student community.  Hours of operation are Monday and Friday 9:00am-5:00pm, Tuesday and Wednesday 10:00am-6:00pm and Thursday 11:00am–7:00pm.  The Site Coordinator is available 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday to set up appointments.

FMA is a community-based family practice group with offices located in Hamilton and Manchester, Massachusetts.  Endicott’s Health Center is a full-service center with an FMA Site Coordinator, Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist, Nurse Practitioner and supervising Physician providing a full range of medical services to the Endicott community. FMA is affiliated with Lahey Health, which includes Beverly Hospital, Addison Gilbert Hospital and Lahey Health Outpatient Center at Danvers.

Endicott chose to partner with FMA to enhance the level of services available to you. As a student, you have full access to all medical services at the Health Center, including sick or accident visits, physical exams, flu shots as well as full lab services.

If you have a PPO, POS, indemnity or similar type of plan, your insurance should cover any visits to the Health Center, subject to your co-payment.  The Health Center will bill your insurance company directly at the time of visit.  However, if you have an HMO plan where you need to select a primary care physician for office visits in order to have insurance cover the cost, we encourage you to select one of the physicians at FMA.  We encourage all students and employees to contact their insurance company prior to visiting the Health Center to determine benefits and co-payment/deductible information.

All physicians at FMA are Board Certified Family Physicians (PCP) and are recognized as such by insurance companies. By selecting one of the physicians at FMA as your primary care physician, you will be able to have your visit to the Health Center billed directly to your insurance company.  Your co-payment would be due at time of visit.  One of the advantages of selecting a primary care physician at FMA is that you will have twenty four hour a day coverage, 365 days a year, from the FMA physician’s team.

In the event that you do not select a PCP from FMA, and your office visit is not covered by your insurance company, students will be charged $45 for an office visit.  Additional fees may be charged depending on the medical treatment needed.  FMA accepts cash, checks, debit cards, credit card (MasterCard, Visa and Discover) and Card Cash from a student’s Gull Card for payment of services.  Because of federal guidelines, we are not able to bill a student’s Endicott tuition account for medical services.

Endicott employees are also welcome to seek medical care from FMA at Endicott.

If you require more information or to set an appointment, please contact Site Coordinator Tammy Medros at (978) 232-2104 or fma@endicott.edu.  Please visit FMA’s website www.fma.md  for information about the physicians on their team.  You will need to contact your insurance company in order to select a new PCP from the FMA practice group.
