Girls Scouts of Eastern Mass. Cookie Event

Girls Scouts of Eastern Mass. is looking for volunteers to help the kids with a cookie delivery event. Volunteers will be helping with verifying orders, putting together orders and helping to load cookie boxes in cars. Volunteers could sign up to help in 2 hour shifts beginning at 8:30 in the morning and running through 6:30 at night. Flexible times!

YMCA Kids Fun Night

Help "bring the fun" at the local YMCA. Kids "Fun Nights" occur most Friday evenings, volunteer once, twice or every Friday, if you like. You'll help supervise the kids participating in sports, swimming, and gymnastics as they get to have fun with friends, free dinner and give their parents a "date night". For more information stop by the Community Service Office.

Friday Night Happenings are a drop in event each Friday night. Volunteer on the nights that are right for you, a different event happens each week so that you can pick and choose. Enjoy the company of old friends and make new ones during weekly events at the Arc. Events include Bingo nights, movies, cooking, dances and other fun happenings. Northeast Arc, formerly the North Shore Arc, delivers life long support services to people with developmental disabilities. With your help, these individuals are given an opportunity to live a happy and normal life.

Rotaract Service Club

Endicott College Rotaract Service Club (RSC) is a student affiliate of the Rotary Club. Members get together for service projects, social activities, and leadership workshops. Meetings are held every other Wednesday of the month and may also feature speakers and discussions. On an individual basis student’s volunteer at local nonprofits such as Beverly Bootstraps, The Open Door Food Pantry, Beverly Affordable Housing Coalition and the YMCA. Service Club is a fun way to meet new people and help our local and global communities. All are welcome!

"Worthwhile Wednesday!"

On select Wednesdays throughout the semester, the Community Service Office will advertise “Worthwhile Wednesdays”. The activities for these events range from helping out at the Local YMCA, to stocking food pantries, to helping with various mailings along with many other opportunities.
This "Worthwhile Wednesday" we will be volunteering with Family & Children's Service of Greater Lynn at their "Teen Scene" program from 3-6pm. *Transportation provided by the Community Service Office. Interested in volunteering please call or email to sign up.

Special Olympics Passion Plunge

Volunteers Needed! Approximately 1,000 people will be donning costumes as they jump into the Atlantic Ocean to benefit local Special Olympics Massachusetts athletes . It is a fun, festive event with many features including event t-shirts, costume contests, smorgasbord, dance party and more. If you would like to participate in the plunge there is a $25.00 Registration Fee. YMCA Adaptive Needs Dances

Monthly dances provide adults a chance to meet old and new friends, listen to music, and dance the night away. There are always s nacks, pizza, beverage and of course, the DJ! *Volunteers welcome - help with the event and have fun yourself as you mix and mingle!
