The pre-professional summer intensive program is designed for candidates seeking to enter either the Master of Arts or the Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design degree program who currently do not hold an undergraduate degree in interior design or architecture. The six-week, 16-credit program consist of two three-week sessions covering foundation coursework within the interior design discipline.
The curriculum provides students with foundation skills and design methodology needed to enter graduate level coursework. Students develop freehand drawing skills, technical drawing, design fundamentals, electronic media, and presentation style skill sets need to matriculate into the Master’s degree programs. Students must earn a “B” or higher in all coursework in order to be granted admittance into either the M.A. or M.F.A. program in Interior Design.
