The Graduate Program in Interior Design at Endicott College has taken a giant step forward in establishing itself as a leading interior design program. A 2012 graduate was awarded the Joel Polsky Academic Achievement Award 1st Award for Design Research and Thesis Achievement by the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). In 2013 another one of our graduates was awarded 2nd place honors by the ASID for her outstanding Masters dissertation project. At least three of this years graduating class are already teaching in colleges and another is publishing a book based on her dissertation.
It is worth note to mention that Endicott College offers a beautiful campus setting overlooking the nearby Atlantic Ocean that stimulates the senses and creates an atmosphere of connection to nature. The program’s focus on sustainable and green design seeks to create a world that is compassionate and in balance with its natural resources. The leadership of the program is expert in sustainable design practices the environment green design.
Located near the technology & cultural centers of cities like Boston, Massachusetts and Portland, Maine the Graduate Program welcomes a culturally diverse international student body with students from Taiwan, Columbia, Turkey & Russia as well as students from across the United States. It is the only program in the region to offer both a Master of Art in Interior Design and a Masters of Fine Art in Interior Design.

MA in Interior Design
First Professional Degree (81 credits)
MA in Interior Design(81 credits) is a two year program designed to provide students holding a undergraduate degree in unrelated field with expertise in design research, analysis and design of complex interior environments.
Post Professional Degree (37 credits)
MA in Interior Design (37 credits) is an one year program designed to acquire advanced expertise in design research, analysis, design and construction of complex interior environments within the profession.
As part of ID 510A Global Studio Concentration Option course, MFA/MA students had the opportunity to visit Copenhagen and Malmo to further their projects for the design studio class
Hollie Sutherland, MFA Fall 2012, recently won the ASID Joel Polsky Academic Achievement Merit Award 2013 with her Thesis -- "The lived in Interior, Discovering the Authentic Self".
This is the second time in a row that one of our students have been honored with this award by the American Society of Interior Designers.
