Non-Credit ESL Programs

ECB will be offering English as a Second Language courses for individuals interested in improving their English language skills.  As part of our ongoing support to help English Language Learners and new immigrants in Boston, ECB will offer a bridge program for students interested in learning English and continuing to a college degree program. All ESL classes are non-credit courses. Credit bearing courses are offered through our Undergraduate degree programs.

The program is designed in three ESL levels:

  • Speaking & Listening Skills- Students will practice and develop skills in pronunciation, vocabulary, and use of every-day English!
  • Reading Skills – students will improve reading skills, critical thinking, and will learn how to be more effective readers of American English written content.
  • Writing skills—students will develop effective writing skills and build vocabulary and grammar that can transfer to college or career.
