Statement on the Redesigned SAT
The College Board has announced a redesigned SAT that will be administered to students beginning in March 2016. What does this mean to Endicott applicants? Students applying for 2016 enrollment and planning to submit their SAT scores should send scores from the current test. These students will not be affected by the redesigned SAT.
Students planning to enter college in 2017 may take the current test (before March 2016) or they may take the redesigned test. Consequently, Endicott will accept scores from either the current SAT, the redesigned test or both. The College Board will provide “concordance” information (tables to compare scores from one test to the other) so that all tests scores can be assessed with the same standards. For more information relevant to the redesigned SAT, please visit the College Board website: https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/.
Endicott is Test Optional. However, Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) or American College Test (ACT) scores are required of applicants for all Secondary Education Teacher Licensure programs, Athletic Training, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Physical Education Teacher Licensure and Nursing. The College requests that test scores be sent directly from ETS (code 3369) or ACT (code 1824).
