Remember your school days? Rows of bolted down wooden lift top desks with an ink well? Remember the Palmer Method cursive writing and personal typing classes, the excitement when you had a film and everyone filed into the auditorium for the special program or being called to the blackboard to do an arithmetic problem or conjugate a sentence? Well, everything has changed.
The history of academics is one of changing tools, methodology and ideas. Those changes include moving from chalkboards to whiteboards, typewriters to laptops, and screen and slide projector presentations to wireless classrooms. Today, technology is a part of every learning environment. What will the classroom of 2020 or 2025 be like?
