Education Minor
The Education minor does not lead to licensure in the state of Massachusetts. Students are required to take a minimum of 18 credits as follows:

- ED 101 - Introduction to Education (Cr: 3)
- ED 203 - Introduction to Children with Special Needs (Cr: 3)
- ED 339 - Classroom Assessment (Cr: 3)
- PSY 200 - Child and Adolescent Psychology (Cr: 3) or PSY 204 - Child Growth and Development (Cr: 3)
Students select two from the following courses:

- ED 215 - Creative Arts in the Early Childhood and Elementary Classrooms (Cr: 3)
- ED 220 - Strategies of Teaching in the Elementary Classroom (Cr: 3)
- ED 230 - The Early Childhood Pedagogy of Reggio Emilia, Italy (Cr: 3)
- ED 240 - Literacy in the Content Areas (Cr: 3)
- ED 290 - Topics In Education (Cr: 3)
- ED 310 - The Power of Play in the Classroom (Cr: 3)
- ED 330 - Issues and Best Practices in ELL (Cr: 3)
