Endicott College School of Business

Are you interested in computers, the stock market, banking, accounting or investments?  Do you see yourself as a manager or leader in a Fortune 500 global enterprise? Or as an owner/operator of your own start-up company? Does the fast-paced multi-format, multi-media marketing arena appeal to you? Do you see yourself in the information technology profession in areas such as network and database management, web site development, programming, digital media, and electronic publishing?

If you answered "Yes" to any one of these, then consider the offerings of the School of Business, which includes two of the College's most popular programs:  the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and the Bachelor of Science in Accounting.  Within these two degree programs, further opportunities exist to create a distinct career path by development in-depth knowledge and skill in a minor study area of your choosing.

Within Business Administration, concentration options include some of today's most exciting career-related fields.  You may concentrate in Entrepreneurial Studies, Finance, International Business, Management, or Marketing. Challenging upper-level courses, internships and thesis work are designed to build on a common core of  foundation courses in business and the liberal arts.  Each track includes a semester-long internship and possibilities for study abroad.

Opportunities for employment and advanced study as a graduate in Business Administration are almost infinite in number and variety, and increasingly global in character. The College also offers a Master of Business Administration from The Van Loan School of Graduate and Professional Studies.

The Bachelor of Science degree program in Accounting has been designed to provide the educational background, ethical orientation and contemporary skills-set needed successfully to launch a 21st century career in either public or private accounting.  Building upon the faculty and technological resources of the School of Business, the Accounting program seeks to develop knowledge in four key accounting areas: financial, managerial, auditing and taxation - together with a solid grounding in general business concepts.  Important hallmarks of Endicott's Accounting undergraduate program are its emphasis on developing information systems know-how and on providing industry-based experience in accounting practice within a rigorous CPA-track curriculum.
