Endicott’s Keys to Degrees Golf Classic
09/04/2012
Beverly, MA – (August 10, 2012) Endicott College announced today that it will be holding its tenth annual Golf Classic on Monday, October 1, 2012 at the Essex County Club. The Golf Classic raises critical scholarship dollars for the College’s single parent program, Keys to Degrees. Young single parents are given the opportunity to live on campus with their children while attending Endicott as full time students. Year after year Keys’ students graduate with degrees in many fields, find employment, and enter adulthood educated, confident and well on their way to leading successful lives. The Golf Classic’s impact on the Keys program and its students has been instrumental.
The Keys program has been recognized nationally and is an inspiration to other institutions. Endicott has been working with several Midwestern state colleges and universities in replicating similar single parent programs on their campuses as well. There are also several other institutions currently collaborating with Endicott as part of a nationwide alliance.
The Golf Classic is open to friends of Endicott College and the general public. It takes place at the esteemed Essex County Club in Manchester by the Sea, MA. To participate in the Golf Classic there is a cost of $200/ golfer. This fee includes a boxed lunch, golf cart, putting greens, non-alcoholic beverages, gift bag, and dinner. There is a silent and live auction, and trophies for the top golfers. All proceeds from the Golf Classic are used to provide scholarships for single parent students at Endicott College.
