Amy Cohn
Although Amy grew up in New York City, she has spent almost her entire adult life in the Boston area. She graduated from Binghamton University with honors in history and election to Phi Beta Kappa and went on to work in publishing for a year. Then she returned to school to earn an M.A. in children's literature at Simmons College. A long career in children's literature and publishing ensued, part of which included (and still includes) wearing an educator's hat (teaching courses in children's literature to undergraduate and graduate students). Amy came to Endicott College and the Division of Academic Resources seven years ago, splitting her time among the Writing Center, one-on-one work with students, and occasional teaching. She enjoys every part of this community tremendously--students, colleagues, and those breathtaking ocean views.  Amy is married with two high-school age children.
