Mediated and Smart Classrooms
Endicott College has a total of 52 mediated or Smart classrooms around the campus. What are mediated classrooms? Simply put, they are classrooms that have been enhanced with computer technology and/or media.
The basic mediated classroom comes equipped with a teaching computer station and LCD projector or large screen monitor. Many also come with VHS, DVD and audio capabilities. Additionally, Smart classrooms take this one step further and offer interactive Smart Board technology. Many mediated rooms now also offer wireless connectivity for laptop use and the Scangas Center for Media and Learning is equipped as a videoconferencing classroom for distance learning and conferencing.
When classes are not booked in these rooms, Mediated Classrooms can be booked for use by contacting conferencing.
