Workshop Descriptions

Canvas Basics: Attend this 2 hour workshop for a comprehensive introduction to Canvas. You will learn about Canvas features including uploading files, editing pages, creating modules, customizing the course navigation, and building assignments. You will also learn the basics of discussions, and grading.

Build Your Canvas Course: This 2 hour work session will take you through how to transfer your materials (files and assignments) from GullNet to Canvas and then set up the foundations of your course by creating content pages, assignments, modules, and course navigation.  Prerequisite: Canvas Basics course or prior Canvas experience. 

GullNet: Upload Course Content: Learn how to upload and organize course materials including the course syllabus, presentations and documents and links to web sites.

GullNet: Setting Up Coursework and Gradebook: Attend and learn how to create, manage and grade student assignments in Coursework and calculate students’ overall grade using Gradebook.
