Endicott is working to use energy efficiently. Efforts include:
- retrofitting lighting throughtout campus
- high-efficiency boilers
- changing from oil to gas-fired boilers
- water conservation
- demand hot water heaters
- Vending Misers
- Comprehensive controls control heat, air conditioning, and lighting
The College is undertaking a study of wind availability as the first step in evaluating the viability of renewable wind power.
A recent comprehensive lighting project in two buildings will reduce campus greenhouse gas emissions by 130 tons/year.
In 2010 Endicott conducted a Greenhouse Gas Inventory.
