A $100,000 Parent Gift Challenge – in support of the Endicott College Writing Center
Never before have Endicott’s parents had such an outstanding opportunity to support a fund that touches the academic experience and success of each Endicott student.
In the fall of 2015, an anonymous Endicott parent issued a $100,000 matching gift challenge to all Endicott parents to help build a critically important endowment fund to fuel the growth and expansion of the Endicott College Writing Center.
The Writing Center is a staple of academic support at Endicott College, and since 1996 has been integral to the academic development of students in all academic disciplines. In order to meet the academic needs of a growing population of students, additional staffing is essential. This parent challenge in support of the Endicott College Writing Center will create an endowment fund to sustain and grow the Writing Center, increasing professional staff, as well as professional development training for peer and professional tutors.
All gifts received and designated for the Endicott College Writing Center Endowment by June 30, 2016 will count toward the endowment and this challenge. No matter the size, all gifts will be matched up to a total of $100,000. This effectively means that the Endicott College Writing Center will be supported by a $200,000 endowment at the conclusion of this challenge. Your gift will make a valuable impact for students today and into the future.
