Q. What are the requirements for receiving pay?
 

Answer:

The following documents must be submitted to Human Resources prior to your initial paycheck:

1. Your signed contract if pertinent to the position;
2. W4 Form - Available in the Human Resources Office or download online: IRS W4 Form (pdf);
3. I-9 Form - Available in the Human Resources Office or download online at: I-9 (PDF, 489 KB).
(For example, you will need two forms of identification such as driver's license and Social Security card or expired or unexpired passport.)

Additional forms required by Human Resources: (but you can be paid without them)

4. Application Form - Available in the Human Resources Office or from your department Secretary/Administrative Assistant.
5. Original Official Transcripts from the institution granting your highest degree.
6. Resume/Vita

Faculty Salary Selection:

Full time faculty and academic year employees may elect to receive their compensation over 10 or 12 months. This decision must be made by September 1st of each year. A Selection Form  may be obtained through the Human Resources office.

Q: What is the process for submitting course syllabi?

Answer:

Directions regarding course syllabi may be found in the Faculty and Adjunct Faculty Handbooks.  Forms may be obtained from your Dean or Chair.  Two typed, completed course syllabi should be submitted to the Department Chair/Dean at the beginning of the term in which the course is to be offered.

Your Dean/Chair and/or Secretary, Administrative Assistant are valuable sources of information specific to your School.  You may find their phone numbers and email addresses in the Endicott Faculty/Staff Directory.

Q: Where should I post my Office Hours?

Answer:

Office Hours (Full time faculty):

Office hours must be posted and maintained throughout the semester so that students may confer about their academic progress and other matters of concern.  Office hours should be posted in a location conspicuous to the students, such as the faculty office door.

Of the five hours required by the contract, three office hours must be specifically posted and maintained in the office and two hours must be posted indicating where faculty will be available.

To access the Library you must have a Gull Card.  You must also have a P.I.N. number which requires an in-person visit to the Library. (#13 on the Campus Map)

Q. Can you tell me about Endicott's Internship Program?

Answer:

Internships are the heart of the Endicott experience.  Endicott College was one of the pioneers in developing a work experience program known as Internship.  The founders of the College believed that students working in their intended career areas could gain practical experience, sharpen their insights, and increase their marketable skills.

Students must complete two month-long internships as well as a semester-long internship, usually taken in the Spring semester of the Junior year or Fall semester of their Senior year.

Q: Where do I get my College ID?


Answer:

Your Gull card is your College ID, which allows access to Athletic Events, the Post Center Facilities and the Library.  It can also be used as a debit card.  See how at www.endicott.edu/gullcard

Q. What is C.O.A.S.T.? (CARS)

Answer: Campus Online Administrative and Student Transactions
C.O.A.S.T. provides faculty with a Web Advising System, Facility Schedules, Class Lists, Faculty Schedules, Grade Entry, and much more. If you require access to C.O.A.S.T., your hiring manager must complete the Employee Information Request Form and submit it to Human Resources. To access C.O.A.S.T., point your browser to www.endicott.edu and select C.O.A.S.T. from the upper right corner of the screen.

Q. How do I access the Intranet?

Intranet FAQs:

Who has access to the Endicott College Intranet?
Only Endicott College faculty and staff with an Endicott email account.

Can I access the Intranet from home?
No! You can only access the Intranet on campus.

How do I logon to the Intranet?
-
  Open your web browser (Internet Explorer) and go to the Endicott College public website at:  http://www.endicott.edu.  The Intranet link is located under EC|Connect.

If you are accessing the Intranet from either a Mac or through Firefox or some other browser, you will need to enter your Windows login username and password for each browser session.  If you are using the machines in the Computer Labs, Cyber Cafe, or Library, you will also be prompted to login.

Q. How do I access the Faculty/Staff Net Mail?

Answer:

You may check your email from anywhere with Net mail. Open any browser and type in: http://fs.endicott.edu

- Enter your Email Username (Your email address without the @endicott.edu)

- Enter your password

- Click "Login"

Note:  Contact the Help Desk to change your password.
